Accreditation: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the University of Utah and SIIM - Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine. The University of Utah is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

All attendees are encouraged to use the CME system to claim their attendance. Physicians will be awarded AMA PRA Category 1 credits ™; all other professions will be awarded attendance at a CME event credit that they may use for their re-credentialing purposes. Nurses seeking contact hours must claim through the CME system. All users will be able to print or save certificates. For questions regarding the CME system, please contact the UUCME Office. Maintenance of Credits – MOC
Clinical Informatics Diplomats
AABPM recently launched Continuing Certification Program (CCP) with updated requirements for maintaining Board Certification. In the new program, ABPM Diplomates are no longer required to earn LLSA credit and may fulfill the CME credit requirement through the completion of any AMA PRA Category 1 CME credits. With the LLSA credit requirement removed, ABPM will no longer review/approve educational activities for LLSA credit. This program is approved for 16.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ . and therefore, meets the requirements for ABPM Diplomates.
Continuing Education Credits – CE
Technologists
An application will be submitted through the American Society of Radiologic Technologist (ASRT) to provide Category A CE credits for the SIIM Annual Meeting Program and Epic Users Group Meeting.
Medical Physicists
An application will be submitted through the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP) to provide Medical Physics Continuing Education Credit (MPCEC) for the SIIM Annual Meeting and Epic Users Group Meeting.
Imaging Informatics Professionals
SIIM Imaging Informatics Professional credits will be available to track continuing education for CIIP certification eligibility requirements for the American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII) for both the SIIM Annual Meeting program and Epic Users Group Meeting.
Enterprise IT Professionals
Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Managements Systems (CPHIMS), may use their SIIM continuing education credits towards the 20 credits designated in the other provider category for recertification.
