A detailed view of a microscope with the word "Pathology" underneath, representing medical research and diagnostics at the SIIM Annual Meeting.

Pathology is accelerating into a fully digital future—powered by whole slide imaging, AI, interoperability, and enterprise image management. SIIM26 gives pathologists the opportunity to first build a strong foundation in core imaging informatics principles—governance, standards, workflow design, data integration, and AI implementation—before applying those skills directly within the digital pathology domain.

This roadmap highlights sessions that may be especially relevant to digital pathology. Use it as a guide to explore what aligns most with your goals and shape your own SIIM26 experience.
