Overview of the work being done by the HSA POCUS workgroup and the white papers that are being produced. We’ll cover the structure of the workgroup, governance of a POCUS program, pre-deployment planning for a healthcare system to ensure the right players and components are in place, and the deployment of point of care ultrasound.

Objectives

• Explain the work being done and goals of the HSA POCUS workgroup.
• Recognize they are welcome to join the HSA POCUS workgroup to learn, participate as a co-author, or contribute content that could be referenced in white papers.
• Distinguish who to reach out to if they’d like to have a conversation on how the POCUS Co-Chairs may be able to help with the planning and deployment of POCUS.
