Ben Rush, PhD, MPH, is a data scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He works on CT-based biomarker health outcome prediction in large datasets and researches how large language models can be used in radiology. He serves on UW-Madison’s Machine Learning + X Leadership Committee and has a passion for clear, empathetic science communication, having led multiple workshops on strategic science communication, AI for scientists, and improv for scientists.
