Dr. Jani has explored the use of natural language processing in clinical settings and medical education since 2017 as part of the Elhadad lab at Columbia University, where he completed medical school. As a resident at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, he leads technical development for multiple educational and clinical AI applications, such as clinical note summarization. He hopes to continue combining his clinical and technical expertise to build and deploy AI systems that improve clinical workflows in radiology and beyond.
