As a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School’s Department of Biomedical Informatics, Dr. Luo’s research career has been focused on developing artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms for medical data analytics, aiming at alleviating doctors’ burdens and improving patients’ outcomes. He serves an area chair of the International Conference of Medical Image Computing and Computer-aided Intervention, 2025. Previously, he has also served as the co-editor for the proceedings of TML4H 2023, and the guest associate editor for IEEE JBHI special issue on Trustworthy Machine Learning for Health Informatics and CMIG special issue on Trustworthy AI for medical imaging.
