Dr. M. Huisman is an attending cardiovascular and musculoskeletal radiologist at Radboudumc, a EuSoMII Board Member, and a member of the ESR eHealth & Informatics Subcommittee. She serves as the ECR Imaging Informatics / Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Chairperson for 2025, a committee member with FMS (Netherlands), and an associate editor for Radiology: Artificial Intelligence. Passionate about artificial intelligence and interdisciplinary collaboration, Dr. Huisman is recognized in the AI in healthcare space for her meta-level insights, including topics such as standardization and clinical validation. Her current research focuses on validating commercially available AI tools and exploring non-interpretive use cases.
