Event Speaker
Tyler Bradshaw, PhD
Assistant Professor
University of Wisconsin – Madison
Dr. Bradshaw is an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Department of Radiology. His lab focuses on using artificial intelligence to automate the analysis and interpretation of medical images. They explore novel methods for combining medical image analysis and language modeling. Dr. Bradshaw has served on the Board of Directors for the Physics, Instrumentation, and Data Science Council (PIDSC) of the SNMMI and is a member of its Artificial Intelligence Task Force. Dr. Bradshaw helps lead NucLex, an effort to standardize nuclear medicine terminology. Dr. Bradshaw’s clinical duties include overseeing nuclear medicine physics support, including radiopharmaceutical dosimetry.
Sessions
Cracking the Code: Technical Deep Dive into Multimodal Foundation Models for Medical Imaging
Multimodal foundation models are rapidly emerging as a transformative force in enterprise imaging—but their underlying mechanics and clinical implications often remain misunderstood. This session delivers a technical deep dive into how these models integrate visual, textual, and structured data to advance diagnostic imaging. Attendees will explore cutting-edge research, learn about the architectural foundations of state-of-the-art…
Theranostics Informatics: Future and Standardization of Medical Imaging and Dosimetry
The session will start with a brief introduction into Nuclear Medicine informatics in the era of Radiopharmaceutical Therapies and the potential towards personalized cancer care. The session will then discuss challenges in data and terminology standardization, along with efforts to address them. These include a dedicated nuclear medicine ontology (NucLex), efforts towards appropriate DICOM usage…
