About The American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII)
The American Board of Imaging Informatics, Inc. (ABII) is the non-profit organization that sponsors the Imaging Informatics Professional Certification Program and awards the Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) designation to qualified candidates. Founded by the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ABII’s national certification program defines the standard for demonstrated knowledge and competence in medical imaging informatics.
