About the Session

Healthcare professionals are under constant pressure to do more with less time, often spending hours each week on non-clinical work such as literature review, content creation, administrative tasks, and workflow coordination. This interactive session addresses a clear and growing need: helping attendees reclaim meaningful time by using AI tools in practical, low-barrier ways that fit real healthcare environments. Participants will focus on what actually works today—without requiring technical expertise—while also learning where AI tools fall short and require human judgment.

Throughout the session, attendees actively shape the learning experience through live polling, word-cloud collaboration, and real-time challenges. Participants explore AI applications across research, education, no-code app development, and daily productivity, gaining hands-on exposure to workflows they can adapt immediately. Emphasis is placed on critical evaluation—understanding limitations around accuracy, privacy, security, and compliance—so participants leave confident not just in how to use AI, but when and when not to rely on it.

By the end of the session, participants walk away with concrete, reusable resources, including curated prompts, platform-specific tool alternatives, and implementation checklists shared through a GitHub repository. More importantly, attendees leave with peer-tested strategies and a realistic roadmap for saving 5–10 hours per week through thoughtful AI-enabled workflow optimization.

Objectives

  • Identify appropriate AI tools for literature discovery and research support while distinguishing their limitations in systematic reviews and evidence synthesis.
  • Create AI-assisted educational materials (e.g., summaries, flashcards, audio content) from medical literature while maintaining pedagogical quality and accuracy.
  • Demonstrate no-code app development using AI platforms to build personalized productivity or educational tools while addressing security and privacy considerations.
  • Implement at least one AI-enabled workflow improvement for daily professional tasks such as email management, transcription, scheduling, or documentation.
