Aawez Mansuri is a Systems Software Engineer at Emory University’s HITI Lab, specializing in scalable data solutions for medical research. He develops cloud-based pipelines to extract, de-identify, and process radiology images, enabling the creation of high-quality datasets like EMBED and the Emory Chest X-ray dataset. His research explores large language models (LLMs) for automating label generation and post-deployment monitoring of AI systems in clinical settings. By bridging data engineering and AI, Mansuri advances imaging research and ensures reliable AI applications in healthcare, equipping researchers with the tools to drive innovation in medical diagnostics.
