Allan is the Technical Co-Chair of the HSA POCUS workgroup and Co-Editor for the EBIW IHE Profile extension for POCUS. He entered the POCUS field with Sonosite as their Medical Informatics Manager. He then joined Butterfly Network as Senior Director of Medical Informatics, built a team for pre-sales, client deployments and advanced support while contributing to the development of a cloud-based POCUS Manager. Allan advised Clarius on an enterprise solution to deploy handheld ultrasound devices at scale. He provides consulting services for startups and healthcare systems. He holds an MBA in Healthcare Information Systems and a BS in Biomedical Engineering.
