Dr. Amit Gupta, MD, is an Associate professor of Radiology and Division Chief for Cardiothoracic Imaging at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center(UHCMC)/Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). He also has joint appointments in the Departments of Medicine and Biomedical Engineering. He is a big proponent of utilizing new imaging techniques, modalities and software for image interpretation, including Dual-energy CT, 3D printing, Radiomics, and PET/MRI. Dr. Gupta, has also played a pivotal role in applying advanced imaging technologies to the general patient care and founded Chest Artificial Intelligence Initiative (CHAII) to promote AI education as well as to foster collaboration between researchers.
