Assistant Professor, Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine
University of Maryland Medical School of Medicine
Dr. Florence Doo is a clinical abdominal radiologist and AI researcher. Dr. Doo serves as Director of Innovation at the University of Maryland Medical Intelligent Imaging Center or UM2ii (pronounced “you-me”), and she also leads the medical imaging AI research team as Faculty at the University of Maryland Institute for Health Computing (UM-IHC). She has received grant funding including AAR CERRAF, an NIH P50 early investigator subaward, and an institutional K12 award. Her research focuses on translating technologies into clinical patient benefit, with a focus on climate health and sustainable AI.
