Irene Dixe de Oliveira Santo, MD, CIIP, is a final-year radiology resident at Yale, with a passion for innovation, education, and global health. Originally from Portugal, she earned her medical degree from Charles University in Prague, Czechia, and will begin a Neuroradiology fellowship at Cornell in July 2025. As one of two mini-fellows in medical informatics at Yale, she has completed the EPIC Physician Builder Program and the CIIP exam. An active leader in wellness, diversity, and education within RSNA, her research focuses on AI, brain tumors, and global health. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, dancing, and medical illustration.
