Dr. Johnstone serves as the Vice Chair of Informatics for the Department of Radiology at VUMC after completing subspecialty training in Pediatric Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. For the past several years, Dr. Johnstone has had the pleasure of serving as the Chair of the SMIT committee here at SIIM, a role out of which Dr. Johnstone transitions this year. In both positions, Dr. Johnstone focuses on improving experiences for those in Healthcare and Healthcare-adjacent fields, including patients, at the intersection between thoughtfully designed informatics solutions and wellness.
