Thomas Arnold, PhD

T. Campbell Arnold is a senior research scientist at Subtle Medical, where he develops and clinically validates FDA-cleared algorithms for accelerated image enhancement, image synthesis, and radiologist workflow tools. He earned his PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and completed preclinical medical training at the Perelman School of Medicine. His work focuses on translating cutting-edge imaging methods into real-world clinical practice, including early clinical validation of Hyperfine’s portable MRI. He is also the creator of Radiology Access, a newsletter highlighting the people, research, and technologies advancing global imaging access.
