Atlas Haddadi Avval, M.D., is a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Radiology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She earned her medical degree from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in Mashhad, Iran. Her current research focuses on the application of machine learning/radiomics and deep learning algorithms to characterize pediatric brain tumors, with a particular emphasis on diffuse midline glioma. She contributes to educational initiatives within the SIIM Machine Learning Education Subcommittee.
